Refund Policy

We aim to offer you the very best service, with quality products, efficient order processing, and fast shipping!

 When you place an order, we take every opportunity to keep you informed on estimated delivery dates (usually 4-5 days), or, in the event that a product is on backorder, when we expect it to be back in stock. Please feel free to call us if you experience any problems with your order, or need additional information on how your product functions.

 

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we’ll gladly issue a refund, in accordance with our Return Policy:


Returns Within 30 Days, in As-New Condition: Your product must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date on your invoice, in as-new condition. Damaged items (even those that become damaged during return shipping) cannot be refunded, because they are not in a resalable condition. Because of this, we strongly recommend that you insure your package.

Restocking Fees: There is a 15% restocking fee on all items.

Products Must be Returned in Their Original Packaging: Please make sure that the original manufacturer’s packaging is intact, with the serial numbers, certification labels (brand name, UPC Code, UL listing, etc…) unaltered and clearly visible. Removing of any of these items will void your FireProtectionSupplies.com Returns Policy.

Products Marked "Non-Cancellable/Non-Returnable" Cannot be Returned: This applies usually to custom-made products that often can't be resold.

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be at your expense, and are non-refundable. In addition, FireProtectionSupplies.com accepts no responsibility for packages lost or damaged in transit.

 

 Simple Guidelines for Hassle-Free Returns:

 
1.    Shipping the product back to us:

  • Are you returning the product within 30 days of purchase?

  • Is the product in its original, as-new condition with all accessories and warranties included?

  • Are you sending the package via a carrier that offers proof of delivery, traceable shipping methods, and insurance against possible damage? This is the best way to ensure that your package reaches us in a timely manner, and that you’re covered for any unforeseen mishaps in transit.

 
2.    Call us for your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
All items being returned need to have an RMA number, so we can easily identify you as the person in need of the refund or replacement. Please call us toll-free at (877)547-4580, and a customer service representative will be happy to issue your RMA code.
 
3.    Refunds:
Once we receive your package and have it inspected by our receiving warehouse, we will process your return within 5-7 business days. The refund will be issued in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.
 
Credit Card Purchases: A refund will be credited to the original credit card.
Check: We will send you a check.
PayPal: We will issue a refund via PayPal.

Special Considerations 

We recognize that not every order is the same, and that your return may be the result of unusual circumstances. To help guide you through non-standard returns, we’ve detailed a number of special situations below, but if you need more info, please call us at (877)547-4580.

  

  • Shipping Charges and Restocking Fees
    If we made a mistake on your order or the product had a manufacturers defect, you will not be responsible for any applicable restocking or shipping charges. However, we are unable to issue any refunds on shipping or restocking fees under any other circumstances.

  • Manufacturer Restrictions
    We work with a variety of manufacturers in order to bring you the widest selection of products. A few of these products ship directly from their manufacturers, to reduce shipping costs and save you money. Some of these manufacturers have a standard 25% restocking fee that must be applied to all items returned within 30 calendar days. This, of course, would not apply if the product was delivered defective, or if we made a mistake on your order. To qualify for store credit, products must be in their original packaging and condition.

  • Out-of-Stock/Backordered/Discontinued Items
    In most cases, a product is discontinued because it’s being replaced by a newer, upgraded version. In the event that you need to return a discontinued item,  we’ll offer you the choice of a comparable replacement product, or a refund at the current market price less the 15% restocking fee.

  • Defective/Incorrect Products
    Please call us for an RMA, and we will make sure that the item is returned and replaced at no expense to you. The product, however, must be in its original packaging, retain its as-new condition, and be accompanied by the original packing slip, as well as any applicable accessories and warranty cards . Once we receive your package, our receiving warehouse will have your return processed in approximately 5 business days.

  • Ordered the Wrong Color or Size?
    To make an exchange, please call us for an RMA number, which will help us track and process your exchange once we receive your returned product. If you’re working on a project that requires an immediate replacement, we suggest that you request a credit when you call for your RMA number, which would allow us to ship you the replacement right away. Once we receive your return, the credit will be applied to you in approximately 7 days.
